Today I am focusing on writing some Demand Studios revenue share articles that have been sitting in my queue for a while. Most of them deal with alternative medicine and herbal remedies. I’d been putting off writing them because I was a little intimidated by some of the topics, but I’d claimed them because I knew they’d be interesting. And I’m learning a lot of cool stuff! For instance, the Peruvian maca, a plant with a radish-like root that is dried and used in food preparation, has been used for centuries to increase strength, energy, and sexual stamina. And schizandra berry has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat insomnia, heal allergic skin reactions, reduce stress and fatigue, and improve concentration.
I’ve also written a couple of articles about natural remedies for psoriasis, and found it interesting that the same diet I’ve been following for optimum health — eating lots of fruits and vegetables, reducing or eliminating sugars, processed foods, and gluten, and using supplements such as flaxseed oil — is recommended to cure psoriasis. Many people believe psoriasis is caused by an abundance of toxins in the system that are trying to exit the body through the skin, so a diet that is both high in healthy foods and encourages proper elimination can be beneficial to those suffering from the disease. I read several testimonies from people who said they have overhauled their diets and found relief from their symptoms.
